Terms of Service
1. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are provided in CAD and based on the services listed on our site. Additional work requires your approval.
2. Scheduling and Access
You agree to provide safe access to the chimney and appliances. We may reschedule due to unsafe conditions or weather.
3. Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.
4. Warranty
We warrant workmanship for 90 days on completed repairs. Wear-and-tear and unforeseen structural issues are excluded.
4.1 Warranty Process
If you believe a warranty applies, notify us within the warranty period with your service date and invoice number. We will assess and remedy qualifying issues.
5. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

7. Service Limitations
To ensure safety, compliance, and clarity, the following limitations apply to all bookings and on-site work:
- Attic and roof access may be refused during high winds, ice, lightning, or unsafe pitch. We will reschedule without penalty in such cases.
- We do not dismantle building structures, cabinetry, or finishes. Access panels must be installed by others if required.
- Soot, creosote, or residue migration is minimized using containment; minor dust is possible despite precautions.
- Estimates are visual and non-destructive unless otherwise stated. Hidden defects may alter scope and price upon your approval.
- Compliance upgrades (liners, caps, clearances) are quoted separately if the existing system does not meet current code.
- We do not service recalled, modified, or uncertified appliances. Proof of certification may be requested.
- Third-party permits and inspections are your responsibility unless explicitly included in writing.
8. Your Responsibilities
- Clear 2 metres of working space around appliances and the base of chimneys.
- Secure pets and safeguard sensitive furnishings before our arrival.
- Disclose prior repairs, known leaks, smoke events, and insurance claims related to your chimney system.
- Verify building access and parking availability for the scheduled time window.
- Ensure an adult (18+) is present to authorize work, changes, and site access.
9. Acceptance and Record
Acknowledge these terms to receive an email copy for your records.
